The Northern Arapaho Business Council is proud to announce Tribal member Jenni Wildcat has been appointed by Gov. Mark Gordon to serve on the Wyoming Gaming Commission.

 Ms. Wildcat brings over 15 years of tribal gaming and regulatory experience to the position. Since 2008, she has served as a regulator overseeing secretarial procedures for the Northern Arapaho Gaming Agency. In this role, Ms. Wildcat is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and tribal gaming laws; serving as a direct liaison with the National Indian Gaming Commission, Department of the Interior and other federal and tribal entities; developing policies and procedures for agency operations and more.

 Prior to her work with the Northern Arapaho Tribe, Ms. Wildcat was Executive Director for the Eastern Shoshone Gaming Agency and, earlier, a Gaming Inspector for the Cherokee Nation Gaming Commission.

 “Jenni’s experience, background and integrity will make her a tremendous addition to the Wyoming Gaming Commission,” said NABC Chairman Lee Spoonhunter. “She has a keen understanding of gaming issues and will be a strong voice on the Commission for the wagering public. Our congratulations to Jenni Wildcat on this well-earned appointment – she’ll serve our community and the people of Wyoming well.” 

Ms. Wildcat’s appointment comes after state lawmakers passed legislation to expand Wyoming’s 7-member Pari-Mutuel Commission to the now 9-member Wyoming Gaming Commission. The Commission states that its primary mission is “the protection of the wagering public and the health, safety and welfare of the participants in the events, both human and equine.”
